BIGGER PROFIT ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE UPTO 50000 :  Ministry of Heavy Industry has announced a new policy to promote Electric Vehicle. Government will spend Rs 500 crore for the scheme from April to July 2024

The second phase of the rapid adoption and manufacturing program of electric vehicles ( FAME – 2 ) in the country is ending on March 31, 2024. In such a situation, Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, while announcing the Transport Promotion Plan 2024, said that the Narendra Modi government will promote e-vehicles in the country and is committed to promote under this scheme, a budget of about Rs 500 crore has been kept for electric two wheeler and three vehicles.

Its objective is to help about 3.3 lakh 2 vehicles, up to ₹ 25000 will be provided for the purchase of small 3 wheeler vehicles and ₹ 10000 will be provided for the purchase of 2 wheeler vehicles, more than 41000 such vehicles will be included. Financial assistance of ₹ 50000 will be provided on purchasing a big 3 wheeler vehicle.

Ayush Lohia, CEO of Lohia Auto, has said that we see the Immobility Promotion Scheme 2024 as an important opportunity to contribute to the development of the electric vehicle industry. ₹ 25000 for small 3 wheeler vehicles and up to ₹ 50000 for large vehicles. This scheme along with subsidy is expected to increase the demand for three wheelers and two wheelers vehicles. This surge in demand will not only benefit our business but also encourage us to innovate and improve our products to meet the growing market needs.

 

Condition for FAME – 2 subsidy

1. You must have a valid ID proof.

2. You must have never claimed a FAME 2 subsidy before for electric two-wheelers.

3. The name provided during the registration must exactly match the name on the ID proof.

FAME INDIA PROGRAM

FAME India is an initiative launched by the Indian government under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. The program aims to promote the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles in the country to reduce pollution and dependency on fossil fuels. It offers incentives and subsidies for both manufacturers and buyers of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles.
